  • homebridge-cmd4

CMD4 Plugin for Homebridge - Supports ~All Accessory Types & now all Characteristics too

hey there! i will do you one better. i will give you the project link, and the issue link where they talk about setup and configuration. its a bit more technical setting up the AppleTV portion. but this is currently among the more common uses for this. it can read the state, as well as CONTROL the state should you need or want too. i used to use this way back, but i havent kept up with the process of doing this since i got me a Hue Syncbox :)

  • homebridge-raspbian-image

Official Homebridge Raspberry Pi Image based on Raspberry Pi OS Lite.

If you are getting a RPI 400, i highly recommend using the official homebridge image :) or just running the latest Rasbian Bullseye and installing it by hand. HOOBS as a project hasnt been actively maintained and in many ways is far less stable. Running the latest in homebridge is ideal.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • docker-homebridge

Homebridge Docker. HomeKit support for the impatient using Docker on x86_64, Raspberry Pi (armhf) and ARM64. Includes ffmpeg + libfdk-aac.

The real chad move you can do here though would be to run buster, then install docker. And with docker, you could then run 2 containers. One for homebridge using the docker container, the other with home assistant container. To do what we’d are doing here, both are NOT required. But if you want to venture into the world of HomeKit, having both wont hurt :) i use home assistant to bridge my jacuzzi and Trager over, and homebridge for a lot of my other stuff with the actual homekit ecosystem being my core automation system.
