Async/await makes me want to cry

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/ProgrammerHumor

Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • CoroutineScheduler

Low allocation coroutines with tightly controlled concurrency

  • You don't need to use an enumerator for that. For a generic solution that works with any library, I open sourced part of a game engine here: https://github.com/AshleighAdams/CoroutineScheduler

  • referencesource

Source from the Microsoft .NET Reference Source that represent a subset of the .NET Framework

  • Thanks for the explanation. I barely heard of it while I've tried to learn async/await, and only seen promises in the https://referencesource.microsoft.com site, while barely found any explanation in MS Docs. I remember Tasks somehow relies on promises, but the considerate amount of code I went through to come across it deters me to actually look it up now.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
