That said, you should check out the Brunch project (their Discord is one of the best places for help if you need it) - it's a framework for running official ChromeOS images on non-CrOS hardware. The 11th gen Framework has been tested and IIRC is perfectly compatible (including wireless card). I haven't seen anything about 12th gen yet but I'll test it out once my device arrives.
