SurveyJS
Open-Source JSON Form Builder to Create Dynamic Forms Right in Your App. With SurveyJS form UI libraries, you can build and style forms in a fully-integrated drag & drop form builder, render them in your JS app, and store form submission data in any backend, inc. PHP, ASP.NET Core, and Node.js.
The app hasn’t been third-party audited. I wouldn’t believe it’s going to third-party audited anytime soon since the project doesn’t seem to be well-funded. I base this statement on the fact that they can’t afford a code-signing certificate (source: issue #726). Hopefully, they’ll now get many new paying users from the communities that previously looked over Notesnook because of its closed-source nature. They could then become a real competitor to Standard Notes, something I honestly believe would benefit Standard Notes as well.
The new editor in version 2.0 (based on Tiptap) is neat. I could definitely see me using it as my main note-editor, just like I can with the Milkdown editor in Standard Notes. Notesnook’s editor isn’t a pure markdown based editor, but you can export your notes as markdown.
