Thanks for taking a look! I use the https://www.npmjs.com/package/grant for OAuth (to spare people having to remember yet another password) and I believe it uses cookies to prevent OAuth replay attacks. Thanks for highlighting this. I'll work on a better error message if cookies are not enabled.

I use [Yunohost](yunohost.org) as OS to ease the deployement of self-hosted apps (I only have to click on a few buttons to install Calibre-Web) so I don't know what is the best setup configuration, but all info can be found on the wiki, and especially in the Kobo Integration section for the Kobo-api changes.
