This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/selfhosted

Our great sponsors
  • SurveyJS - Open-Source JSON Form Builder to Create Dynamic Forms Right in Your App
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • Pi.Alert

WIFI / LAN intruder detector. Check the devices connected and alert you with unknown devices. It also warns of the disconnection of "always connected" devices

  • I was wondering if anyone has personal experience using either software and was wondering which one I should deploy on my network. My main use case is for monitoring all of my internal services that I care about the most and the WiFi only devices like my Nest Camera, "smart" garage, etc but I was wondering which one is worth investing my time into. First I'll dedicate a VM to run this service on my Hypervisor then I'll dedicate Rasp Pi to monitor and send alerts if needed. I've noticed that on here it hasn't been contributed for quite some time and this would be an alternative if someone would want patching/updating involved. But compared to uptime kuma it seems like this project is actively maintained. I was wondering anyone's thoughts on this. Thanks.

  • uptime-kuma

    A fancy self-hosted monitoring tool
