you should make sure you actually understand someone before laughing at them. for a number of technical reasons, uBlock Origin works significantly better on Firefox than Chromium-based browsers, of which the majority of "other browsers" are comprised.

The variant Waterfox is a bit better.
ArkenFox recommends four extensions, but I personally only use uBlock Origin and Skip Redirect because the use cases for the other two are covered by configurations. They also explain why a lot of other 'privacy extensions' are not really all that useful.
