I'm working on a back-end service that connects to a SQL database and serves Flutter apps over gRPC. I need it to start when the server machine boots, so I tried to install it as a Windows Service using a utility called RunAsService. When Windows tries to start the service it immediately gets a "service is not responding to the control function" error.
No idea about RunAsService, but I too have a Dart executable running as a service and I am using WinSW and it runs without issue.
