Activated Carbon Filters. Bad smells or fumes, or complaints thereof, should not keep you from being a maker!
I've also used them with or without an oled panel on a WLED board to change LED brightness, color, etc.
Wild! I've been printing these cable ducts for the same purpose haha
That's a Waveshare CAN hat, it's what allows my toolhead board to run power and data to everything on the toolhead through a single 4-conductor cable! Kinda like USB but with less overhead and more potential wattage. So it can also power the extruder heater, steppers, etc via 24V and then the pcb steps it down as needed to power the 5V, 3.3V, etc components. It's a pretty sweet little board with really quite good hardware in it. So it's actually a decent upgrade in addition to just being more convenient wiring.
The Nevermore is on the bottom right, below the rotary encoder. That's a carbon filter. The one in the front is just a desiccant box that I screwed a tiny fan to because why not? I don't think that little fan is actually doing anything except slowly killing itself though. It was mostly just practice in wiring up a boost converter and relay. Worst case I've already got the hardware and wiring in-place to use it to control an exhaust or circulation fan.
