  • OpenMediaVault

openmediavault is the next generation network attached storage (NAS) solution based on Debian Linux. Thanks to the modular design of the framework it can be enhanced via plugins. openmediavault is primarily designed to be used in home environments or small home offices.

  • Basically, you can install TrueNAS as a base OS and have Plex running as a plugin. Not sure about the Minecraft server. I believe it's also possible: https://www.truenas.com/community/threads/setup-minecraft-server-via-apps-gui.91816/. Another option is to run Proxmox or ESXi free and then use VMs. In this case, consider OMV: https://www.openmediavault.org/ to run as a VM as it consumes minimum resources or Starwinds SAN and NAS: https://www.starwindsoftware.com/free-san-and-nas (supports ZFS and mdadm). Remember that ZFS needs direct access to drives to ensure data integrity so if it's inside a VM you need to passthrough drives for it.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
