  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • OpenMediaVault

openmediavault is the next generation network attached storage (NAS) solution based on Debian Linux. Thanks to the modular design of the framework it can be enhanced via plugins. openmediavault is primarily designed to be used in home environments or small home offices.

  • I would personally go with a single refurb server (like Dell R720 or HPE analogue), fill it with resources, install the hypervisor, and run your applications and NAS in the VMs. You can reuse your old microservers as the backup target. As per OS, if you want to do it by yourself I would recommend Ubuntu server 22.04, configure RAID by using MDRAID, ZFS or hardware RAID (if you will have one), and play with iSCSI (LIO), SMB (Samba) and NFS (native) sharing. Or you can stick with FreeNAS (virtualized) or try out something new like Starwinds SAN&NAS (https://www.starwindsoftware.com/free-san-and-nas) or OpenMediaVault (https://www.openmediavault.org/)

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
