  • SeaBlock

    Factorio mod pack Sea Block

Seablock is a mod where you start on a tiny island in an ocean and have to expand from there. It is based on Bob's and Angel's mods and adds tons complexity for anything from ore gathering to building items. It also uses the victory condition of the Space Extension Mod (SpaceX) requiring you to launch about 200 rockets.

  • FactoryPlanner

A mod for Factorio. Allows you to plan out your production in detail.

In Seablock the challenge is mostly about figuring out and building the production chain for an item. These can be extremely complex. For example, an initial factory to get platinum ore requires 20-30 steps in different sets of buildings to make sludge, turn it into ore and cope with the byproducts. And turning ore into bars and then plates (and dealing with byproducts) can be another 15 steps for some metals. Building these chains efficiently and with the right number of buildings for each step almost requires a planning tool such as Helmod or Factory Planner. Byproduct management is a bigger issue than with Space Exploration and a good recycling center is critical.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
