I am using NeoVim.In other words, if I want to make a NeoVim-only plugin, would it be easier to make it in Lua? I tried the minimalistic helloworld.vim.

Deno is not a browser. I don't use denops, but I'd bet the runtime impact is magnitudes smaller than running a browser.
