    • folder3 was empty and it was not uploaded to s3, and my requirement is to upload to s3 event if the folder is empty, after going through the documentation and some StackOverflow links I found that it is not possible to cp or sync an empty folder to s3 using aws CLI commands, the feature request is still open in Github from 2014 (https://github.com/aws/aws-cli/issues/912)
