Nginx webserver and reverse proxy with php support and a built-in Certbot (Let's Encrypt) client. It also contains fail2ban for intrusion prevention.

Like many of us here, I’ve been interested in hiding my home ip lately. I first got Cloudflare Tunnel working by following this guide (check out the comment about using Docker), but stop using it when I realized that CF can technically decrypt and MITM my traffic. (Tho it’s probably not a threat.) Tailscale and Zerotier are suggested, but they are not exactly selfhosted. So I chose to torment myself by building a Wireguard tunnel between my home server and my VPS. The information is scattered so I’m documenting my experience here. (I assume you already know what a reverse proxy is. If not, you should start with the basics first.)

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
