EDM Production on Linux ?

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/edmproduction

Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • yabridge

A modern and transparent way to use Windows VST2, VST3 and CLAP plugins on Linux

  • yabridge lets you run the vast majority of Windows plugins like native Linux ones. If you send a project to someone using Windows or vice-versa it will even load the plugin states with no issues. You just install the Windows plugins with WINE, tell yabridge where to find them and sync.

  • reapack-repository-template

A GitHub repository template for ReaPack repositories using reapack-index for testing and deployment, automated using GitHub Actions.

  • Another advocate here for Reaper and Renoise. Reaper is very powerful, has an absolute shitload of free community-driven extras, such as ReaPack and JS plugins etc, and is much better at handling Windows VSTs. That said, Renoise is as solid as a rock if you use LADSPA plugins (and also very fun to use).

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
