good luck using anything at the farmers market. its possible to send crypto transaction through radio or even satellite. if all the farmers and everyone in town wanted a way to keep trades secure while not needing to keep their money in a bank(someone elses house) they could start their own chain of any opensource coin. this is were its true value comes in. if th grid goes down it doesnt mean the infrastructure disappears it just means theirs did. with things that i mentioned along with things like http://collapseos.org/ if and when we decide to build society their are already people on it. lets not to the bank thing again please
