It's perfectly possible for the shell to be more convenient on Linux for things that can be done graphically as easy as on Windows - at some point, it's faster to open a terminal and (for example) pacman -Ss slicer, decide on Cura and sudo pacman -S cura than to look for 3D slicers in a store or browser and install the one you want that way, especially if you're a fast typer. And if I was lying here, people wouldn't use things like Chocolatey on Windows, would they?

I would never condone checking out this wiki and also doing what Empty-Size-4873 said, also avoid anything on that site with yellow next to the uploader's name, specifically IGG games is pretty inconsistent from what I've heard
