[AstroNvim](https://github.com/AstroNvim/AstroNvim) has been developing a lot over the past few months and we have been working on some exciting new stuff to improve both usability as well as overall stability.We have recently released AstroNvim v1.4.0 which is the first official release with the new updater and our first official release on our new stable update channel. This stable update channel allows users to only receive updates on officially tagged releases as well as commit pinning for all default provided plugins. This will allow AstroNvim to be reliable and stable between updates and prevent unforseen breaking changes to plugins stopping the editor from working after syncing Packer.We haven't made a post since the v1.0.0 release, so here are some of the update highlights between v1.0.0 and v1.4.0:- Completely rewritten updater- `stable` and `nightly` update channels- Warnings on breaking changes when performing an update- Easily switch between branches as well as other remotes/forks for easy testing- ~2x performance improvement to start up time (<30ms startup using `hyperfine 'nvim +q'`)- 100% lua based plugins- Improved user configuration that allows overriding any default provided settings and code- Unified `nvim-lsp-installer` and `lspconfig` in a way that also enables easy configuration of LSP specific plugins such as `rust-tools` or `clangd_extensions`- Migration to Neovim 0.7 using all new lua APIs as well as global status line- Brand new documentation website with usage and configuration details as well as recipes for common user configuration questions: [astronvim.github.io](https://astronvim.github.io/)https://github.com/AstroNvim/AstroNvimWe also want to thank everyone in the community who has used and helped out with AstroNvim.
