    For example, I use a homebridge plugin like homebridge-messenger ( to create a couple of homekit virtual switches that will trigger an IFTTT applet with webhook. The IFTTT applet will send the push notification. Then it's just a matter of creating a homekit automation that triggers the correct virtual switch when certain condition is met (like in your case the weather drops/rise to certain degree).
