A customizable, open-source eCommerce platform built on WordPress. Build any commerce solution you can imagine.

Learn the WooCommerce ecosystem (and other similar options). Most people can throw up a basic WP site if they put their minds to it. But there are two things even smart people find confusing about website building. One is graphic design, which is a good skill to have, but isn't valued as much as it should by by most people. The other (IMO) is WooCommerce. It is a very powerful, but often confusing, tool to set up. And most business who have more than the most basic informational website needs are going to be interested in eCommerce of some sort. Everything from giving a vintage store the ability to sell online, to a restaurant wanting to offer online orders, to giving a local bnb a booking system that isn't tethered to airbnb or VRBO.
