AreWeAntiCheatYet
A comprehensive and crowd-sourced list of games using anti-cheats and their compatibility with GNU/Linux or Wine.
There are some quirks with NVIDIA drivers, but you should be able to run it just fine for most part. The only officially supported game launcher is Steam. You can expect most of the games on Steam to just run. Great resource for checking that is protondb.com and areweanticheatyet.com for games with anticheat. If we are talking games outside Steam, GOG provides support for some of their games, but not for a launcher. Epic, UPlay, Bethesda Launcher, Origin and others are not officially supported. All of them work with unofficial software (Heroic Games Launcher and lutris), but you can expect some level of difficulty getting them to run compared to Steam. There are some games that are not supported at all.

For anything else, use Lutris.
