Looking for a lightweight system monitor

   Glances an Eye on your system. A top/htop alternative for GNU/Linux, BSD, Mac OS and Windows operating systems.

   

   Try Glances, cAdvisor, or Netdata. I run all three in containers. None use resources to speak of until you use them. I prefer cAdvisor to monitor container memory and CPU usage for containers. Netdata is normally my go to when I want to see overall host performance when it is not a container going haywire and I am troubleshooting. Glances, well, just because it is pretty cool and nostaligic.
