So, XBMC is very old software (not to be confused with Kodi, which is the evolution of XBMC but the team stopped supporting the Original Xbox), and I think the last available version dates back to 2015-2016. For Cerbios, I am using it on my consoles, but it is beta software and can be a bit buggy. Thus, I would not yet recommend it, unless you need very large or multiple hard drives. You could stick to EvoX or switch to iND BIOS, but unless you are trying to do something specific, EvoX should be good. Coinops 8 is the latest version I think, and is the best in my opinion. Finally, the XBMC version you saw could probably be Rocky5's XBMC4Gamers, which features custom scripts that improve the overall experience. Its addon store includes an application that automatically fetches the details and images for all your games. You can just download it and transfer it to your console, and then set EvoX to boot it.
