I look at uptime, dps, overheal, and resource usage (xivanalysis.com is good for these) primarily. So long as my uptime is high, dps is good (I shoot for 65%+ on fflogs if possible), my overheal is sub 30%, and I'm not wasting tons of resources like cards, addergall, aetherflow, etc, I call it a win.
