You can use someone elses setup like https://github.com/ecosse3/nvim , or spend a lot of time building your own custom setup. If you really get into Neovim you are 'doomed' to spend months chasing the perfect setup, when you realize you can have everything exactly the way you want it then you can get addicted to making it that way... if you have a certain type of personality, which I think a lot of programmers do :)
