The strain gauge seems to be a major problem for the Vyper. I am on my second one and I am really struggling to make it work. I've seen a bunch of videos relating to this mod you can see one here vyper extended it definitely looks like it works but it looks like you need a considerable amount of technical skill to do the job. Not so much on the physical side but more on updating the firmware to take into account the offset of the BL touch to the printer head. Good luck
