Good for you, dev is a great path and you can, if you put a lot of work into it, acheive a very comfortable life. That being said, listen ye! Don't quit your job right away if you don't have a safety net, landing your first job could take up to 2 years of dedication. I reccomend starting with The Odin Project, then I'd go with CS50X or CS50w, with these courses you'll learn a lot about what you're doing, not only how to do it (there's a big difference).
