Also, I can't find a good static site generator. VuePress(v1) or Gridsome isn't updated anymore, I had some problems developing. Nuxt 3 looks very good but it is still in beta(Had a lot of problems).Do you have any you can suggest? Looking here, other solutions don't appeal to me neither. I am thinking of VuePress Next(still beta but looks good. Tell me if you tested and think that they are production ready) or Vite static deploy.

I did use Strapi and Nuxt to build a (small) SSG Website. You probably can't really go wrong with any of these CMS though, but it always dependens on your use case. Directus is a lot closer to your database, so you can already use data from it i think. Strapi uses their own schema how it saves stuff. Another good CMS that I've tried and is also self hosted and nodejs is https://payloadcms.com/
