  • As for your second question, I'm not sure which security issues you're talking about so if you could elaborate, then I might be able to add my insight. Generally speaking though, it is very expensive to store data on a blockchain since every byte of data added needs to be distributed and stored by every node that's validating the chain. This is partially why transaction fees on the Ethereum network cost so much. The common work around is to do what I described above: store the data off-chain and store the hash of the data (which is much smaller in size) on the chain. If a project still requires the original data to be publicly accessible and distributed, then a network like IPFS can be used to store it in a decetralized manner.
