Hardware probe: https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=db343a530d System report/neofetch: https://termbin.com/3cdt https://pastebin.com/PzfrDXSB Questions: is there an way to add an overflow menu (like the overflow menu on windows) to the cinnamon taskbar? Actual support thing: Anytime i try to do anything like opening chrome, i would notice that my temps would rise from like 40-60c to 70-90c. This would found out through using auto-cpufreq and its --stats feature and bashtop. Whenever I would do something as simple as tabbing between windows, opening a new app like the file explorer or the text editor or interacting with my browser, my temps would go up and cause my fans to ramp up. The cores aren't clocking up to max speed since all cores would be at 2.4 ghz and not like 4.1 ghz. However, i did notice that in the same spikes of temperature, 1 or 2 cores would be fully utilized and be at 100% usage. While on windows, I don't experience those issues. My temps wouldnt experience those same issues. The temps would stay around 37c to 49c during basic usage. If I have not given enough information or is hard to understand, please tell me.
i also have undervolt setup. heres a funny thing that happened: when i went to check what my underovolt settings were, it turns out that my core had a fucking +600 mv offset applied. i went to check my undervolt service file and found out that i had given the core a -1400 mv offset. i got rid of the extra 0 from the -1400, rebooted, opened up bashtop, and now my idle temps are 40c-50c. was this entire problem caused by me just accidentally fat fingering another 0 to my undervolt???????
