you need to use the k8s api server cert for certificate-authority-data and your client cert for client-certificate-data. fwiw there are no users in kubernetes and certs are a generally isnecure way to authenticate to kubernetes. https://github.com/PacktPublishing/Kubernetes---An-Enterprise-Guide-2E/blob/main/chapter5/B17950_Chapter_05.pdf (i'm the co-author, there's no registration or paywall for this chapter) will tell you everything you need to know about k8s authentication.
