I only used Kdenlive a few times, and watched some tutorials, so I could learn to do what I wanted, which is basically a few touch-ups to the video and replacing the audio track. But now I've removed Kdenlive, and I downloaded Openshot from my package manager. After an hour of playing with it, I actually managed to get some work done with it. It will do!
