    • Here is a crawler I wrote to analyze node counts https://github.com/blakebjorn/opennodes - I don't operate it anymore or pay to host the site, but I will tell you that if you recurse the entire bitcoin network, there will be about 100k nodes listed via getaddr calls (the same number given by Luke's raw data), less than 20k of which will be reachable via ping in a given 24 hour window
