It may have but it's hard to keep track of what's been posted on Reddit and Mattermost. I see you reported it to https://github.com/pop-os/pop/issues/2328. If someone finds a fix for this I'll update that post.

I was just clicking the icon in the application menu but it wouldn't launch. However I came across the issue in Github: https://github.com/benjamimgois-zz/goverlay/issues/203 , I used the .deb file as suggested and i'm able to use the program again.

I think it this might be because the version of BackInTime on PopOS 22.04 is version 1.2.1-3 and this is resolved in 1.3.1 as per https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/issues/33503. Any way to get this new version into the PopShop?

Personal Package Archive. It's a third-party debian package repository. Such as the WineHQ PPA, the Oibaf Mesa PPA, or the Pipewire PPA. You're pretty much always better off getting software through other means. Either by Flatpak or Nix with NixGL for GPU support.
