Dolphin is a GameCube / Wii emulator, allowing you to play games for these two platforms on PC with improvements.
Depends on what games you play. Dolphin means you can play basically every Wii/GC game at 1080p on base M1's (Mario Galaxy 1/2!), OpenEmu is fantastic for games older than that (Super Metroid, Pokemon Platinum and Chrono Trigger are a few that I recently played), and Minecraft runs over 500fps at full res with some basic mods if you use the linked custom launcher.
