Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • kubernetes-the-hard-way

Bootstrap Kubernetes the hard way. No scripts.

The method of bootstrapping the cluster depends on what you are trying to learn, if you want to be thrown into the deeper end, go ahead and install it with kubeadm or even go with https://github.com/kelseyhightower/kubernetes-the-hard-way , if you want to mainly learn about the application stack and not so much about the Kubernetes cluster level, go ahead with something like k3s or kubespray, or even pay for a managed cluster in the cloud

  • k3s

    Lightweight Kubernetes

I would suggest creating a VM in Proxmox, installing Ubuntu/Debian on that VM, then installing K3s on that OS.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
