i have recently setup wireguard using wg-easy, i am using traefik as reverse proxy and dynu as dns provider. For traefik you have to set 51820 as entrypoint and forward it from your router. You can have a look at the docker compose file here : https://github.com/kha7iq/selfhosted/blob/master/services/wireguard.yml.
