  • Nim

Nim is a statically typed compiled systems programming language. It combines successful concepts from mature languages like Python, Ada and Modula. Its design focuses on efficiency, expressiveness, and elegance (in that order of priority).

  • v

Simple, fast, safe, compiled language for developing maintainable software. Compiles itself in <1s with zero library dependencies. Supports automatic C => V translation. https://vlang.io

My experiences with Vlang have been very positive. To get a good picture of the language, suggest consulting the Vlang documentation. It is a newer programming language that is still alpha, so is not yet production ready. However, if the person is an experienced programmer, independent, or IT person then they can find it quite useful. One could argue that its a very good time to learn it now, so as it progresses towards 1.0, such persons would have already been using it and have built projects with it.
