  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • bleachbit

BleachBit system cleaner for Windows and Linux

  • I use CCleaner and BleachBit. Use CCleaner every week or so maybe, and then BleachBit once a month or as needed.

  • mpv.net

Discontinued 🎞 mpv.net is a modern media player for Windows that works just like mpv. [Moved to: https://github.com/mpvnet-player/mpv.net] (by stax76)

  • for example, instead of using VLC or the built in video player, consider mpv.net which is much lighter, faster and still pretty user-friendly. for music i recommend foobar2000 if you like extensive customization, or xmplay if you just want a dead-simple music player without a bunch of bells and whistles.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • tikione-steam-cleaner

Discontinued Steam/GOG/Origin games redistributable packages finder and remover. Available in 13 languages.

  • if you have a bunch of games installed (steam, gog, origin, etc) TikiOne Steam Cleaner can automatically detect unnecessary folders with redistributables packed into them, which take up space and are probably already installed anyways. can save you several GBs of space

  • privacy.sexy

Open-source tool to enforce privacy & security best-practices on Windows, macOS and Linux, because privacy is sexy

  • use tools like privacy.sexy or W10Privacy to disable windows telemetry, uninstall/disable built-in bloatware, and unnecessary background things
