* I remember of doing so with a Cardboard VR (yes, using a Nexus 5). For that, I needed to compile OpenVR, but the repository have some headers missing (still). So I made a workaround (it's a very dirty workaround lol). I don't know how to make a controller though.

https://alvr-org.github.io/ works on linux, though beware wine has a bit of a problem with many vr games... should be able to at least play HL alyx and vrchat i think?
