Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • Simula

    Linux VR Desktop

I don't know too much about VR gaming, but I have found the SimulaVR a interesting project. It needs SteamVR running in order to work.

  • openvr

    OpenVR SDK

    * I remember of doing so with a Cardboard VR (yes, using a Nexus 5). For that, I needed to compile OpenVR, but the repository have some headers missing (still). So I made a workaround (it's a very dirty workaround lol). I don't know how to make a controller though.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • openvr

    OpenVR SDK (by KanuX-14)

  • LinusTrinus

    TrinusVR streaming server for Linux

If you ever wish to look around with your phone, inside a game, consider using LinusTrinus with my experience*.

  • VR on Linux @ gitlab

  • Oculess

Removes account requirements and telemetry from Oculus Quest devices

I would use a temporary email to register to Facebook and then use Oculess to remove telemetry and account

  • ALVR

Stream VR games from your PC to your headset via Wi-Fi

https://alvr-org.github.io/ works on linux, though beware wine has a bit of a problem with many vr games... should be able to at least play HL alyx and vrchat i think?

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
