Hello there 👋🏻!! My name is Sergio Tortosa (you might've heard my project Lily 💮, the Rust-based voice assistant), though, this time I'm speaking as part of Secret Sauce AI (TL;DR a super cool community advancing the state of the art of open source AI stuff).
I want to share a really cool project with you all: an implementation of the Precise Wakeword engine (the one used in Mycroft) in Rust, called precise-rs. This project is unique because other than the usual advantages of using Rust (like minimal memory usage), there's another nice benefit: running the wakeword engine on Android/iOS we want to be able to say to our phones: "Ok, my dear assistant, do the dishes"💥!!.
The code has comments and in the GitHub issues is written what's missing, the goal is to mimic functionality from NumPy not present in NDArray (a library for maths operations).
