Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • Packer

Packer is a tool for creating identical machine images for multiple platforms from a single source configuration.

I think your goal here is one better served by Packer than by Terraform. Terraform is intended for describing long-lived objects and modifying them in-place over time, whereas Packer is explicitly designed for deriving new machine images from other machine images by running arbitrary customization commands.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
