    There is an open issue about how they're going to checksum the module downloaded from a URL but it's not resolved yet. There may be fundamental issues to overcome here. With Go modules, it's backed by a git repository, it can tag the git commit SHA with the download.. with an arbitrary hosted JavaScript source, though? I don't know how they'll get extra metadata around semantic versioning or checksums to ride along with that. Checksums alone will be brittle.
