So, your best bet for the actual writing and editing is going to be Github's Atom. I use it, and a lot of my friends do. It's really easy to get the hang of. Remember to save your files as a .rpy file for it to work! When you have the code finished, what you want to do is go to the Submods folder in the DDLC files (DDLC>game>Submods). If you don't have one, then you can just make one in the game folder (remember that folder names are all case sensitive). Drop the .rpy file(s) into Submod, restart MAS if you have it open, and it should work! If the topic is random, Monika will bring it up herself.
