  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • dxvk

Vulkan-based implementation of D3D9, D3D10 and D3D11 for Linux / Wine (by marzent)

  • nixpkgs

    Nix Packages collection & NixOS

  • If you want to see what it takes, I’ve got a PR to add DXVK to nixpkgs that includes the patch for Mac support on Darwin. The patch is here.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • nixpkgs

    Nix Packages collection (by reckenrode)

  • I am. However, I’m playing using packages from nixpkgs because I’m working towards getting FFXIV upstreamed into nixpkgs (for both Mac and Linux). My WIP branch is here.

  • nix

Nix, the purely functional package manager

  • Just to clarify: it’s not a new launcher. It’s the standard one being run with packages that are already part of nixpkgs (or will once DXVK gets merged). This is building on work that’s already been done and is maintained by others.

  • mcfgthread

Cornerstone of the MOST efficient std::thread on Windows for mingw-w64

  • Thanks for the response and explanation. I assumed there was a reason for the replacement but didn’t know. I did replace the threading primitives in the package, but I do it in a postPatch phase instead of with a patch. It seemed less messy that way, and it allows Linux to leverage the mcfgthread-based threading implementation nixpkgs uses for Windows packages.

  • nixos-configs

My NixOS and nix-darwin configs (by reckenrode)

  • Thanks for the clarification. I think our goals are just divergent. I’m looking for something that uses the packages in nixpkgs and integrates nicely with my nixos-configs, which I use to declaratively manage my macOS environments (none of my Linux systems are capable of running the game).
