A DLNA, UPnP and HTTP(S) Media Server.

Universal Media Server. It turns any system into a media server. You'll need a compatible media player connected to the TV. I don't own an Apple TV, but from what understand there are media player apps for it that support DLNA and UPnP protocols. I know it works with Roku's media player. As long as the server and the player are connected to the same network then you can stream videos and music.
