I don't have a CRT, but I play all modern pixel-art games using CRT shaders for ReShade, especially CRT Royale (and a few others). Games like Blasphemous, Astelon, Infernax, Axiom Verge, and Chasm look absolutely fantastic with the default CRT Royale settings expect for interlacing which should be turned off for most LCDs.

1- Download Reshade. 2- Run ReShade_Setup_....exe 3- Browse for the game executable file and select it. 4- Hit Next and select a rendering API. Start with DirectX 10/11/12, but you can easily change that later if it doesn't work. 5- In the next step, hit "Uncheck all" if you only want to install CRT shaders. Hit Next and finally hit Finish. 6- Run the game once. If you can see the ReShade version above the screen, it means ReShade has been successfully installed for the game. Otherwise, run the setup again and select another API like OpenGL or DirectX 9. 7- Close the game.
