  • chezmoi

Manage your dotfiles across multiple diverse machines, securely.

I had a very similar thought/want but put this in a VM. Have a VM with all of my development tools and leave my regular laptop/workstation free of development tools. Recently I had to switch my development VM from one cloud platform to another, so I scripted out my development tools using chocolately in trying to automate as much as possible. I need to learn more about chezmoi.
