I've been experimenting and doing some work to expand the scope of https://github.com/edluffy/hologram.nvim to include general-purpose graphical rendering. Haven't update the doc, but if you take a look at the code in the screenshot in the post it shows the new developments. I plan to expose a cairo API, that can be fed directly into buffers with hologram.add_image(..., cairo_image, ...) so there is direct access to drawing primitives.
